Do you want to cover up a tattoo for your wedding day to avoid sparking a debate between grandparents who are still a bit old-fashioned on the subject?
No worries! With a few tricks and good-quality makeup, you can fool the world and act as if your tattoos never existed!
I highly recommend using ultra-covering, high-quality products to ensure they last all day. Regarding the shade, choose one similar to your skin tone or slightly lighter.
Here are the products I plan to use, which you can adapt based on what you have at home:
• A highly covering concealer. I really like the Lock-it Concealer by Kate Von D or the Extreme Camouflage Cream by Make Up For Ever.
• A dual-tone foundation. I'll be using Ultra HD by Make Up For Ever.
• A translucent powder. I'll be using the Ultra HD Loose Powder by Make Up For Ever.
• A primer. Both Too Faced and Benefit's The POREfessional are great options.
• A beauty blender.
• A brush for applying the powder.
• Hairspray.

• First, apply the primer to your tattoo to set the base.
• Next, put on the first layer of concealer. Gently dab with the beauty blender to cover the tattoo, then apply translucent powder with the brush. Let it dry and repeat the process until the tattoo is covered. The more covering your concealer is, the fewer layers you’ll need.
• Once the tattoo looks covered, add a light spray of hairspray to set it.
• Finally, even out the whole area by delicately applying foundation in small touches. Cover it all with translucent powder, and you’re good to go.
Layering thin layers is key to achieving a natural-looking cover for your tattoo. The process isn’t complicated, and if you’ve used high-quality products, the coverage will last throughout your wedding day!
Happy wedding day :-)
