Because everyone is unique, we all have the right to feel good in our bodies, regardless of our identity or gender. Makeup has no gender and is for everyone! You just need to know how to use it properly to achieve your desired results. For over a year now, I’ve had the privilege of meeting transgender individuals, those transitioning, or men who enjoy cross-dressing, and I’m committed to helping them through this phase.
I even created the Transbeauté website dedicated to them, and an article with some basic tips is available. Below are new tips and the makeup I used for the feminization of one of my clients.
My clients enjoy visiting me because my makeup studio is a warm, private space located in a peaceful home.
Too often, I hear my transgender clients or those in transition suffer from the judgment they face.
It’s essential to reassure, understand, and support them during this stage of their lives. Many men who enjoy cross-dressing come to me for advice on both their look and makeup. I make it a priority to ensure they feel comfortable enough to ask me any questions.
Sometimes these are simple questions, but since their close circles may not know, they have no one else to ask.
Feeling understood and receiving guidance is already a significant step forward in building self-confidence.
Some men enjoy cross-dressing from time to time to appear as beautiful women. However, if you're not used to it, what clothes should you wear for your body shape? First, avoid overly short skirts, low-rise pants, and overly bulky clothes.
Instead, go for shapewear to slim the waist, a fitted dress or top, accessories, and heels you can walk in.
For those interested, I can offer advice and even become your personal shopper to help you find the perfect outfit.
Just because makeup is your ally in changing your appearance doesn’t mean you should overdo it.
Take the example of this client. Here’s the list of makeup used, all from Make Up For Ever, a quality brand that ensures long-lasting makeup.
• Smoothing Primer
• Ultra HD Foundation: match the shade to your skin tone
• HD Blush
• False lashes
The best approach is to take a class where I can guide you on the exact products suited to your skin, eyes, and more. Especially for eyebrows, techniques vary depending on the shape of your eyes.
