It's well known that the queen of contouring is Kim Kardashian.
That said, this technique, which allows you to redefine the contours of your face, is not as complicated as it seems. You just need to follow the 6 golden rules of contouring.

The best technique is to follow a line starting from the top of the ear to the outer corner of the lips.
The trick is to intensify the color on the upper part of the face and blend it toward the mouth. This method is foolproof for sculpting the cheekbones.
The mistake is to confuse contouring with blush.
Blush is used to give your face a little boost, adding a touch of color to your cheeks.
Contouring, on the other hand, sculpts and structures the face.
Avoid colors that are too dull, overly brown, or have a gray undertone.
Warm and clear shades, like taupe, are generally more flattering.
Go for powders that give a golden finish, such as honey, or compact powders up to two shades darker than your skin tone.
If you have very pale skin, opt for a warm taupe-pink shade.
Powders are generally easier to handle than creams for contouring beginners.
Choose satin or matte textures and invest in a rounded brush for application.
The brush should ideally be the same width as your cheekbones to emphasize the area just beneath the bone.
Use small circular motions to blend the color seamlessly into the skin.
Make sure to focus on a small area.
If you’re comfortable with cheekbone contouring, take it a step further by sweeping the color up to your temples and around your hairline to create a luminous halo that is especially flattering.
To shape the chin, you can even sweep the powder beneath the jawline, ensuring you remove any excess product.
The nose is an interesting area for contouring.
It can completely change the structure of your face, but only if it’s done well!
Make sure to choose the right color.
The golden rule is to keep the shadow perfectly parallel on each side of the nose.
Take a small, fine brush, apply a minimal amount of product starting at the beginning of the eyebrow, and sweep it down along both sides of the nose and just on the tip.
Don’t forget: a tiny amount of product is all you need!
